More About Channel Magnets
Channel magnets are largely used for securing or mounting, very common in door latches, blueprint holders, license plate holders, and sign/name plate holders.
Their design features a strong ceramic magnet as a base, set into a channel that features holes or loops for mounting.
Compared with alnico, neodymium, or samarium, ceramic provides moderate pull strength at a much better value. Its natural resistance to corrosion and high heat allow the magnets to go without plating, contributing to their great value.
