More About Ceramic Magnets & Ferrite Magnets
Ceramic, or ferrite, magnets are an extremely popular material choice. Compared with rare earth or alnico, they offer much better value, and provide excellent magnetic strength and corrosion resistance- ideal for electromechanical applications. Choose from different sizes of blocks, discs, and rings.
Magnetic Strength
The highest possible strength that can be achieved with this material is 3.5 MGOe- meaning it is of moderate magnetic strength. They are resistant to external demagnetization fields due to their high Intrinsic Coercive Force, and they perform well at high temperatures- up to 450 Celsius.
Corrosion Resistance
As a result of the natural corrosion resistance of ceramic, plating or coating is rarely required- making the options low cost when compared to similar sized rare earth options.
Applications
There is a wide range of applications for ceramic magnets:
- DC motors
- Separators for ferrous materials
- Automotive sensors
- Speakers
- Promotional materials
- And many more
Custom Magnets
We stock over 1 million magnets to satisfy the majority of all customers needs, but if you find that we do not carry the precise product you need, we can manufacture it custom for you.
We employ full time designers and manufacturing staff onsite, meaning we can complete a very fast turnaround of custom orders, large and small. All manufacturing is done using quality control systems and complies with current MPA standards.
