This family of magnetic materials is one of the most commonly used. It is excellent at elevated temperatures, has a maximum service temp of 450 Celcius, and is available in blocks, discs or rings.
Alnico
Most commonly found in horseshoe shapes, rods or cylinders, Alnico is excellent for those high temperature applications with a service temperature limit of 525° C. A hard and brittle material, Alnico is difficult to rework. Small custom ground batches are economical to produce if our current stock sizes do not meet your requirements.
Channel and Base Assemblies
This broad category of product utilizes a magnet and a steel cup or channel. Versatile in application, they are excellent for holding and positioning. All have mounting holes that allow the magnet to be screwed or bolted into place.
